Learn neuromorphic computing

Neuromorphic is a big word that just means brain-shaped. Your brain does not run on numbers. It runs on tiny blips of electricity called spikes. People are now building machines the same way — and it is far less complicated than it sounds. Twelve short lessons. Each one gives you something live to push and pull until it clicks. No maths needed to begin. Just start at the top.

This school is a gift, not a product. It is free, it stays free, and it is not advertising for anything. It teaches the field itself — you will not find our own research in any lesson, and you never need it to finish one.

The path

Twelve lessons, in order

Every lesson runs in the same order, and the order matters. You poke the thing first, before anyone explains it. You guess what it will do next, and commit to the guess. Then you find out. Only after all that do we hand you the words — because naming a thing you understand is useful, and naming a thing you do not understand yet only feels like learning. Then you prove it on a small task the page marks for you.

Nobody is watching and there is no score, so get it wrong as often as you like. That is how this works. Where maths would help, it waits in a box you can open if you want it.

Why there is no login. Knowledge should not need a password. Nothing here asks who you are. Nothing you do here leaves your machine. There is one honest catch: your progress lives in this browser, so it will not follow you to your phone. We think that is a fair price for never having to sign up.
